D I D I
DIDI is a contemporary Haitian artist whose work is deeply rooted in memory, movement, and cultural identity. Born in Port-au-Prince and raised between Haiti and Montreal, she later built her life in Miami while raising four children. The landscapes, tropical flora, and vibrant communities that surrounded her throughout her life continue to live within her work today.
Inspired by nature, heritage, and the beauty found in everyday life, DIDI creates paintings filled with warmth, color, and emotion. After devoting much of her life to her children and family, she is now fully embracing her lifelong passion for art and creative expression. Her artistic journey was further enriched through studies in art at Florida International University.
